Sir Michael Caine, he of “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” and “The Dark Knight,” may be done with the Miami Beach real estate game after more than 30 years among us.
Caine, 84, is getting serious about selling his last local condo, a 4,100-square-foot palace in the sky.
According to MLS listings, Caine wants $8.7 million for a seventh-floor crib with a movie theater at Apogee, a luxury highrise on the southern tip of South Beach that’s also home to Miami Heat President Pat Riley.

Public records show the actor paid $4 million cash for the condo in 2008.
Caine did some work on the place, adding the small movie theater. It also has four bedrooms and a balcony with more than 1,000 square feet of space.
However, according to a Realtor familiar with the condo, Caine has not been using the space for years.
“He and his wife do come to Miami Beach for a month a year,” the source said. “But they sometimes rent a house instead of staying at the condo. After they sell, they’ll keep coming back but they’ll just keep renting.”
Caine has been listing the condo on and off for two years and originally asked for $12.9 million.
The actor’s love affair with the area dates back to the 1980s, when he opened a restaurant on Lincoln Road called South Beach Brasserie. It closed in 1999.
