Tax man goes after ex-‘RHOM’ cast member Alexia Hechevarria

Democrats and Kanye West are not the only ones who could pronounce 2016 an “annus horribilis.”

“Real Housewives of Miami” star Alexia Echevarria is in that crowd, too.

Not only did the self-proclaimed “Cuban Barbie” lose Herman Echevarria, her estranged husband and business partner, to a heart attack in September, she just got hit with a huge bill for back federal taxes.

According to Miami-Dade County records, the IRS has placed a lien on Echevarria’s North Shore Drive house in Miami Beach to make sure she does pay.

According to the tax man, the couple owes $142,811.31 in unpaid income taxes for 2014.

Echevarria, 49, the executive editor of the Brickell Avenue magazine Venue, didn’t respond to an email asking her to comment.

Although they were estranged for more than a year, Alexia and Herman worked in the same office for 15 years and ran several businesses together.

In September, he was found dead in his condo at the Epic Hotel after he suffered a massive heart attack.

It’s not the first time, meanwhile, that Alexia — who was on “RHOM” for all its three seasons — has had to deal with a huge tax debt.

In 2012, the IRS placed another lien on the house over about $94,000 in unpaid levy. It took the couple two years to pay up and clear the lien.
