But a Colombian drug lord?
Jennifer Lopez, we hardly knew ya.
Yes. J.Lo. confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter she will star as late, not so great drug lord Griselda Blanco in an upcoming biopic for HBO about the woman, aka “the Queen of Cocaine.”
Blanco is a subject of the 2006 documentary “Cocaine Cowboys,” which focused on the Miami drug trade, so we have a feeling parts of it will be filmed here.
Lopez goes on to tell the publication that Blanco, who was killed in Colombia in 2012, that she has “been fascinated by the life of this corrupt and complicated woman for many years.”
Blanco served close to 20 years in the U.S. after being deported back to her native country.
