Comic Pablo Francisco: I love South Florida crowds

Need a good laugh? From Thursday through Sunday, rapid fire comedian Pablo Francisco will be at the Fort Lauderdale Improv entertaining the crowd with spot on impressions, off the wall sound effects and spontaneous outbursts (which can be a good thing). We spoke to the Arizona native — known for his Comedy Central specials “They Put It Out There” and “Ouch!”

How did you know what you wanted to do for your career?

I decided to make my hobby my career when I got fired from Domino’s.

What will your show be like?

Like having A.D.D IN HD.

Who is your comic inspiration?

I always loved Benny Hill because he was a funny old man who acted like a kid.

If you weren’t a comic what would you do?

Probably direct science fiction movies.

What do you think of South Florida audiences?

They’re the best because they are so up to date with everything!
