What’s Eric Benet been up to? Getting ready to perform is what. The sometime actor and singer is one of the headliners of the Overtown Music & Arts Festival, on Saturday, from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Free to the general public, the highly anticipated event will also include live performances by Grammy Award winning talent including Estelle, Jeremih and Ameriie as well as local artists. Festival goers are invited to visit local Overtown businesses and vendors who will be on hand showcasing artwork (including a live art installation by artist Danielle Myers), ethnic cuisine, food trucks, unique crafts, jewelry, clothing, and more.
The family friendly festival also provides a Youth Zone, powered by the non-profit “Teens Exercising Extraordinary Success” (T.E.E.S.). From toddlers to teens, the Youth Zone includes festival-style entertainment featuring musical performances, arts and crafts, face painting, bounce houses, karaoke, and fun fitness activities.
