The Descendants star, visited patients Thursday at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital alongside the hospital’s celebrity ambassador Raul de Molina from Univision Network.
Carson, a Fort Lauderdale native, is promoting the upcoming remake film Adventures in Babysitting. It airs June 26 on the Disney Channel. Carson, along with Sabrina Carpenter, play sitters who spend a crazy night out with their young charges. The 1987 original starred Elisabeth Shue.

Carson, 23, told The Fort Worth Star Telegram that her parents were fans of the movie back then, and that she is excited to bring this reboot to people her own age.
“I love the idea of being part of a project that is already adored by a whole generation,” she says. “To get the chance to share it now with a new generation is really special.”
Carson also chatted with Molina Friday on his program El Gordo y la Flaca, according to her Instagram account.
Among other projects for the Love is the Name singer: Carson wrapped A Cinderella Story: If the Shoe Fits, which will air on Freeform; and reprise her role as Evie, daughter of Snow White’s Evil Queen, in the fun riff on fairytales, Descendants 2.
On July 31, it’s the Teen Choice Awards, where she was nominated for “Next Big Thing.”
