Talk about a husband stepping up for his wife. Brad Pitt filled in for his wife Angelina Jolie Sunday in Los Angeles for the Unbroken Roger Deakins Image Exhibition, according to Us Weekly.

The Fury star represented the Jolie-Pitt family at the event for the upcoming Jolie-directed drama Unbroken. Jolie, 39, was unable to attend due to a case of chickenpox. She recorded a video last Friday, explaining her absences from upcoming promotional events for Unbroken.

Pitt, 50, mingled with guests and stars such as actor Josh Brolin and cinematographer Deakins.

A new Blume book

Judy Blume is back — on the adult shelves.

The author’s first adult novel since 1998 is coming out in June. Publisher Alfred A. Knopf announced Monday that the novel In the Unlikely Event will be set in the early 1950s in Blume’s native New Jersey and will tell of a series of mysterious plane crashes.

The 76-year-old Blume, who recently made an appearance at Miami Book Fair International, is one of the world’s most popular children’s authors. She is known for such novels as Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret and Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing.

Most writers for young people struggle to reach older audiences, but Blume’s previous adult novel, Summer Sisters, sold more than 3million copies.

Mama June says no

Well, this is a relief: Mama June will not have sex for cash on camera, according to TMZ.com

The Honey Boo Boo star says she refuses to consider Vivid Entertainment’s offer for June and Sugar Bear to get naked — and maybe make more than $1million.

“I have more respect for myself and my kids and my family,” June said. “It ain’t happening, not even for a zillion dollars.” And people say reality stars have no standards.
