Man of Steel star Amy Adams played the role of a hero to a U.S. soldier on Friday. The five-time Academy Award nominee was spied giving up her first-class ticket to a serviceman in uniform, opting to fly in his coach seat on the Detroit-to-Los Angeles flight.
“I didn’t do it for attention for myself. I did it for attention for the troops,” Adams later told Inside Edition after landing at LAX.
Though the 39-year-old actress tried to keep her act of generosity low key, fellow passenger Jemele Hill, co-host of ESPN 2's Numbers Never Lie, witnessed the interaction and broke the news on Twitter.
THE REAL DEAL
Olivia Palermo married model Johannes Huebl after 6 1/2 years of dating, MailOnline reported. A week after it was alleged they had a secret wedding, the happy couple said “I do” in an intimate civil ceremony with just a few guests.
The wedding took place Saturday in Bedford, New York.
The socialite wore a cream jumper with ostrich feathers, a white tulle skirt and matching shorts all by Carolina Herrera, adding cobalt Manolo Blahniks to act as her “something blue.”
