‘Think Like A Man Too’ gets SoBe premiere; Game 3 of NBA finals brings out stars

A victory may not have been in the stars for the Heat Tuesday night, but there were plenty of stars enjoying Moet Ice, Grey Goose and other libations at HYDE Lounge under AmericanAirlines Arena. Among those we spotted were Jamie Foxx (at a table full of ladies), Gabrielle Union and Lenny Kravitz, who was a guest of the Arison family. Also in attendance were actor Manny Ribera from Scarface fame, comedian Tommy Davidson, and DJ Irie, who took over the decks post-game. Celebs courtside for Game 3 of the NBA Finals included rapper Rick Ross, boxer Mike Tyson, singer Jimmy Buffett and boxer Floyd Mayweather, who sat right next to the Heat bench.

Who needs L.A. anyway? We had plenty of glitz and glam Tuesday night at the premiere for Think Like A Man Too at Regal South Beach. Two stars of the sequel to the smash hit, Michael Ealy and LaLa Anthony, walked the red carpet, then did a quick presentation before the screening. Also there was producer/St. Pete native Will Packer ( Ride Along), who brought his two young daughters; they live in Miami with his ex wife, Nina. “I’m so proud of them and happy I get to come here and see them,” said Packer, who is reportedly shooting a sequel to Ride Along in Miami. TLAMT, which also costars Gabrielle Union, opens June 20. As for Union, she was a no-show at Regal, of course, due to her duties as Dwyane Wade’s fiancee and devoted Heat fan (see above). But the Being Mary Jane star did show to the premiere in L.A. Monday, telling People magazine that she and the basketball star are in big-time wedding planning mode. At least Wade is. “Once he realized I was trying to turn it into a frat party with beer pong he [took] over,” Union joked. “He really ‘Kanye-d’ himself.”
