During the Latin American Music Awards on Thursday night in L.A., the Miami entertainer spoke loud and clear — in both Spanish and English.
While accepting the Latin AMA Dick Clark Achievement Award, Mr. 305 first talked about natural disaster victims.

“The folks that are helpless right now,” he said as presenter Enrique Iglesias stood by. “I want to motivate them to stay strong and rebuild even stronger...all the way from Puerto Rico to Cuba, the Keys...” he said, moving on to the issue of immigration.
“Don’t ever forget that immigrants built the United States of America,” he said. “With that said, we got to stay strong and we got to fight so that the United States of America stays the United States of America. Not the divided states of America.”
The “Por Favor” singer, who also performed with the four remaining members of Fifth Harmony, also didn’t hold back about his feelings toward Donald Trump’s administration.
“They should be building more schools instead of worrying about building a wall,” said the SLAM Academy Charter School founder, referring to Trump’s controversial proposed U.S-Mexico border wall.
