Big things are happening for AlunaGeorge. The London based R&B meets pop duo made up of vocalist Aluna Francis and producer George Reid, recently released two new tracks, “Turn Up The Love” and “Last Kiss.” After touring with Sia last fall in support of their sophomore album “I Remember,” AlunaGeorge is currently on the road opening for Coldplay. They hit Hard Rock Stadium on Monday night.

What’s your favorite song to do live?
“Mean What I Mean” because I’m always surprised at the audience’s positive reaction to a song about consenting to being sexy. The other day, I dedicated this song to Taylor Swift for winning her sexual harassment trial.
How does it feel to be out there with Coldplay? Their top song?
It’s an honor and a challenge to play to somebody else’s fan base. It can be difficult to feel at home, but they have a really lovely audience who are really supportive to new acts. Their top song for me is “Trouble.” The opening might be one of the best musical riffs of all time, and I love the tone that Chris Martin uses.
We’ve released a couple of new songs that we wrote in Jamaica — “Turn Up the Love” and “Last Kiss” — and also a collaboration with Avicii called “What Would I Change It To.”
