Someone isn’t too impressed with Ricky Martin.

That would be Antonio D’Amico.

And Martin plays D’Amico, Gianni Versace’s lover in the upcoming “American Crime Story.”

Pictures released from the production show Martin in the most dramatic scene of the upcoming TV movie: right after the fashion designer was gunned down on the steps of his mansion by serial killer Andrew Cunanan. The pop singer, dressed in a tennis outfit, is cradling actor Edgar Ramirez, who plays Versace, in his arms, with blood everywhere.

“The picture of Ricky Martin holding the body in his arms is ridiculous,” D’Amico told The Guardian. “Maybe it’s the director’s poetic license, but that is not how I reacted.”

The 58-year-old former model says that he heard shots but never even made it to Versace’s body.

“The house had stained glass windows so we couldn’t see what had happened from inside, so [he and the butler] had to open the gate,” he told the UK publication. “I saw Gianni lying on the steps, with blood around him. At that point, everything went dark. I was pulled away, I didn’t see any more.”
