It was a shopper’s delight over on Lincoln Road at Thursday night’s opening of bebe, newly relocated at 900 Lincoln Road. Models posed in pieces from the spring collection while nonmodel guests posed in a photo booth, ate chocolate covered lollipops and sipped rose wine. Sketch artist Sierra Rasberry walked around creating mini masterpieces while DJ YSL spun tunes in the space which includes an art instatllation via Miami’s TM Sisters.

Down in SoFi, local celebs took in the grand opening of La Terrasse, a Southern French restaurant with outdoor seating. Among the guests at the invitation-only red carpet event was a smiley Karent Sierra, Al Rojo Vivo personality Jessica Carrillo and Gente de Zona reggaeton duo Alexander Delgado and Randy Malcom.

Destiny Antommarchi from Johnson & Wales in North Miami is the big winner of the 12th annual S. Pellegrino Almost Famous Chef Competition. Antommarchi competed against four other regional finalists for the title, presenting her signature dish of Asian Inspired Grouper. Antommarchi was joined at the finals competition by her chef mentor, Chad Anderson. As the 2015 S. Pellegrino Almost Famous Chef title holder, Antommarchi receives a one-year paid apprenticeship with a renowned chef. Mazel!
The Irie Foundation and A Spring of Hope are hosting a private reception Friday at the Hotel Croydon on Miami Beach with special guest Dr. Makaziwe Mandela, daughter of the late Nelson Mandela. Dr Mandela will be sharing a rare and personal perspective about her late father. The Irie Foundation seeks to improve the lives of South Florida youth through education and extracurricular opportunities.
