Rihanna makes Miami look like a very, um, interesting city in the video for her “Needed Me” song, released earlier this year.
In the clip for the profanity laced track, Ri-Ri sees the dark and bright sides of our town. Carrying a gun, the singer walks into a strip club with a gun, then the scene switches back to her riding on a motorcycle through the gritty downtown streets, then in a waterside mansion.
The Daily Mail reports that the sprawling home, located on Millionaire’s Row at 5446 North Bay Road in Miami Beach, is currently for sale for $29M. Built in 2014, the eight bedroom crib (with elevator), was originally listed for $37 million, the site adds.
The video ends in bloody violence, with Ms. Fenty shooting a man who is getting a lap dance, but — phew — the mansion stays intact.
The vid —by “Spring Breakers” director Harmony Korine — has gotten its own share of criticism with The Daily Beast calling it possibly “the most explicit music video in history.”
But no one has said anything about the gorgeous setting on Bay Road, home to stars like Michael Bay and Shakira.
