Wade, Union: One hot honeymoon

Looks like the honeymoon is far from over for Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade.

The Being Mary Jane star and the Miami Heat player tied the knot at a Redland castle Aug. 30, and jetted away the following day. Destination (to us): unknown.

Turns out the Wades wanted to get as far away from the spotlight as possible, though they are reportedly back in Miami now.

Union documented the couple’s fabulous trip on her Instagram. First stop: the Maldives, off the southwest coast of India. On one photo she captioned a bikini pic with the hashtag “irefusedtowearclothes.” The agenda consisted of lots of sunbathing and, um, wading around in the water. “When the Indian Ocean is ya swimming pool...You dive in!” Union wrote.

The pair then embarked on the more action-oriented leg of their romantic vacation, jetting over to the continent of Africa for a safari. “Pure joy! Life on the Serengeti... #Tanzania #Masai #2ndLeg,” she posted.

BELLA’S BALL

It would have been nice to see Jencarlos Canela in the flesh, but not all hope is lost. The telenovela hunk/singer is headlining the sold-out Live Like Bella Foundation gala at Jungle Island Saturday night. The evening pays homage to Isabella Rodriguez-Torres, aka Bella, who died last year at age 10 after battling an aggressive childhood cancer.

Canela wants his fans to know that you can tune in to see him walk the red carpet, get ready behind the scenes and eventually perform starting at 7 p.m. by logging onto livelikeBellaTV.org.

TURN IT UP

If you see E! cameras around town, don’t assume there’s a Kardashian in our midst. The new reality star who will be occasionally filming here is Christina Milian. The cable network announced it has greenlighted Christina Milian: Turned Up (working title) premiering in early 2015. The “docusoap” follows the singer’s career, love life and relationship with her Cuban-American family, some of whom are based in South Florida.

“We simply adore Christina,” said Jeff Olde, E!’s Executive Vice President of Original Programming & Development. “She’s young, vibrant and a highly accomplished artist who has a hectic life balancing the glitz and glamour of celebrity, and the rough and tumble world of hip hop, with the more relatable moments of being a mom, newly back on the dating scene, and trying to make things better for her family.”
