And prepping can be especially difficult, because you\u2019ll often be studying for tough professional exams while working full time.<\/p> <p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Plus, like anything worth doing, it\u2019s not going to happen overnight. The Bureau of Labor Statistics says earning an associate-level credential can take up to seven years because of all the preparation. Fellowship can take even longer.<\/p> <p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That said, you don\u2019t have to ask yourself if you can spend the next decade taking exams.<\/p> <p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A better question is:<\/p> <p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Can I pass one or two exams and see how I feel?<\/em><\/strong><\/p> <p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That\u2019s a much smaller commitment.
