Set Up Payments, Shipping, and Returns<\/strong><\/h2> <p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before customers can place real orders, you\u2019ll need to set up checkout and delivery in your shop.<\/p> <p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Start with your payment provider so customers can pay through the store. Shopify Payments tends to be the best for most stores, but adding options like PayPal, Square, and Stripe can make your shop more accessible for customers who trust those \u201cbig names\u201d (and often already have an account).<\/p> <p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then look closely at shipping.<\/p> <p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your Shopify settings should reflect what the supplier can realistically provide. If the supplier usually takes a week to deliver an order, you want to share that. <\/p> <p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I don\u2019t know about you, but I\u2019d rather wait a week for shipping and know that\u2019s how long I\u2019m going to wait than buy something that advertises 2-day shipping, and doesn\u2019t deliver. <\/p> <p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Remember: trust is<\/strong> <strong><em>everything<\/em><\/strong> <strong>in ecommerce. <\/strong><\/p> <p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Shopify Collective can automatically handle some shipping information between retailers and suppliers, too, so keep that in mind. Test the Shopify-to-Supplier Flow<\/strong><\/h2> <p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The last thing you want to happen is to have a customer excitedly try to order your product, and have the setup fall through before you can make the sale.
