The Roxy Theatre Group performed ‘Thoroughly Modern Millie’ at the Roxy Performing Arts Center in University Park on Sunday, M... arch 17. The musical followed the adventures of Millie Dillmount, a small-town girl who moved to New York in the 1920s. The show featured a cast of about 40 actors ranging in age from 13 to 22. Orchestration was provided by members of the Greater Miami Youth Symphony.

About 1,500 people participated in the annual Epilepsy Foundation of Florida's Walk the Talk fundraiser at Tropical Park on Saturday, March&... #x2009;9, in Olympia Heights. The 2.5-mile walk raised about $80,000, according to Karen Egozi, chief executive officer for the Epilepsy Foundation of Florida. The organization provides a variety of services for people with epilepsy and other seizure disorders.
