Time to reflect: Every morning I look in the mirror and say, ``Who I am is the possibility of vibrant lifelong well-being.''

Breaking a sweat: I weight-train three days a week and do cardio two-three days a week, mostly the elliptical or the treadmill with intervals. I've been seeing the same trainer, Tari Rose, for 15 years. I used to run, but my hips don't do so well. I also do yoga several times a week.

Hugs to spare: My husband is an avid golfer. I do what I call organic yoga on the golf course Sunday morning while he plays. It's beautiful, surrounded with nature. He complains about the trees when he hits the golf balls, while I hug a tree.

California hippie: I used to be a magazine editor in New York in my early 20s. I moved to California, became a hippie and learned meditation. I still meditate every day. I lead meditation classes at Whole Foods in Fort Lauderdale for free to give back the knowledge and wisdom I've learned. It's important to recharge our batteries.

What's for dessert? I'm a vegetarian and I buy organic. I believe in eating right, but having fun while you're doing it. I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, also soy, but no poultry, fish or meat. I love desserts. There are stages where I've been strict. When I turned 60 I became a little more relaxed. If I indulge, I know I eat healthy most of the time.

Life is good: I live on the ocean. Being able to walk outside and breathe the ocean air is wonderful. My 3 ½-year-old granddaughter keeps me young. I'm also active in the community and I've been involved in tourism for 28 years. My magazine, Travelhost Magazine of Greater Fort Lauderdale, is 28 years old and in the guest rooms of major hotels. It was just honored with the Small Business of the Year award. My life is in balance, so I age well.

Guilty pleasure: Dark chocolate-covered almonds.
