Pine Crest School senior hitter Tatiana Berger had 15 kills and 12 digs in a big district win over North Broward Prep.

Tierra Harold, Plantation: senior hitter had 12 service points, 13 digs in win over Fort Lauderdale.

Jenna Keeler, Plantation: senior middle had 15 kills, 22 digs in win over Fort Lauderdale.

Kelly Marble, St. Thomas Aquinas: senior hitter/setter had 107 kills, 17 blocks, 102 assists, 51 digs, 40 service points, nine aces at the Tampa Invitational and in a win over Cardinal Gibbons.

Caitlin McCluskey, Sheridan Hills: eighth-grade hitter/libero had 33 service points, 24 digs, five kills in wins over Cutler Ridge Christian Academy, Hollywood Christian and Fort Lauderdale Christian.

Fernanda Rhossard, Sheridan Hills: sophomore hitter had 35 service points, 21 digs, seven kills in wins over Cutler Ridge Christian Academy, Hollywood Christian and Fort Lauderdale Christian.

Shelby Rush, Highlands Christian: sophomore setter had 23 service points, eight aces, three kills, 37 assists, 20 digs against King's Academy, Posnack Hebrew Day School and Westminster Academy.

Sara Saxner, Nova: senior hitter had 22 service points, four aces, 33 kills, 28 digs in wins over Coral Springs, Coral Glades and Northeast.

Siana Summey, Sagemont: junior hitter had 28 points, 18 aces, 21 kills against Coral Springs Charter, Coral Springs Christian and Hollywood Christian.

Gabriella Texeira, Monarch: junior hitter had eight kills, 16 service points, 12 aces, eight digs in wins over Boyd Anderson and Coconut Creek.

Christina Walters, Monarch: senior libero had 24 service points, eight aces, 12 digs in wins over Boyd Anderson and Coconut Creek.

Junior Varsity Volleyball Players of the Week

Stephanie Heera, Plantation: sophomore had seven digs, two service points, two aces against Fort Lauderdale.

Melissa Lancaster, Plantation: freshman had 30 digs, three kills, two blocks against Hollywood Hills and Fort Lauderdale.

JUNIOR VARSITY REPORTS

HOLLYWOOD HILLS/SOUTH BROWARD

Gina Stephenson helped lead the unbeaten South Broward High School girls' junior varsity volleyball team over Hollywood Hills 25-19, 22-25, 15-10.

It marked the first time the Bulldogs (8-0) beat Hollywood Hills. Stephenson had two kills and three service points with an ace in game three.

Jaime Jehne had three kills (two blocks), and Alice Lizardi added three service points with two aces in the third game. Sara Pelse-Lizi had a kills and a service point. Kelsey Shark had a kill off a block, and Rosemary Campos had a kill.

Nakita Martinez had two kills and an ace for South Broward in game three. Stephanie Crespo had a kill and a service point, and Tiffany Hercules had two service points in the third game. Megan Spencer did a good job at setter.

CARDINAL GIBBONS TOURNAMENT

The Cardinal Gibbons junior varsity volleyball team defeated St. Thomas Aquinas 25-10, 25-15 to win the Lady Chiefs JV Tournament on Saturday at Cardinal Gibbons in Fort Lauderdale.

Sophomore Clarissa Ter Maat had 11 kills and eight digs. Sophomore Allyson White had 20 assists, and sophomore Lexi Burton had 11 digs. sophomore Sara Jacobs added 11 service points and five aces. Gibbons avenged an earlier defeat to the Raiders.
