Wozniacki reaches fourth round at Wimbledon

London, England (SportsNetwork.com) - Former world No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki was a third-round winner Friday at Wimbledon.

The 16th-seeded Wozniacki cruised past Croat Ana Konjuh 6-3, 6-0 in 70 minutes.

Wozniacki, who is still seeking a trip into her first-ever Wimbledon quarterfinal, will meet second seed Li Na or Barbora Zahlavova Strycova in the fourth round.

Also, 22nd-seeded Russian Ekaterina Makarova bested Caroline Garcia of France by a 7-5, 6-3 margin.

In second-round action, third-seeded French Open runner-up Simona Halep outlasted Ukrainian Lesia Tsurenko 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 and Swiss Belinda Bencic defeated American Victoria Duval 6-4, 7-5.
