Goleman wins in boys' soccer

The Goleman boys' soccer team defeated district rival Krop 2-1 to remain undefeated.

Kevin Arellana led the Gators (8-0) with a goal and and an assist. Niko Ramirez added a goal.

Christian Teran had an assist.

BOYS' SOCCER

• Ronald Reagan 9, St. Brendan 1: Micael Aranowicz scored and had four assists to lead the Bison (9-1-2). Juan Castellano added two goals and two assists. Donato Punyed had a goal and two assists.

• Ferguson 6, Braddock 0: Randolph Amaya scored four goals to lead the Falcons (9-0-2). Steven Saballos and Carlos Monge each added an assist.

• Southridge 5, Homestead 0: Nicholas Figero led the Spartans (4-4) with two goals and an assist. Luis Hurtado added a goal. Ernan Cruz recorded his first shutout.

• Hialeah Garden 1, Westland 0: Christian Romero scored the lone goal for the Gladiators. Ian Esquivel recorded 10 saves.

• Killian 3, Varela 1: Steven Selinas, Carl Lamur and Lazaro Gil led the Cougars (7-0-4) with a goal each.

• Sunset 8, Southwest 0: Goalkeeper Cody Nunez led the Knights (6-6-2), recording his second shutout.

• Columbus 3, Coral Park 2: Andres Ruiz led the Explorers (11-2-2) with a goal. Miguel Sanchez added a goal.

• American 0, North Miami 0: For the Patriots (10-1-2) Felipe Dunas and Andy Trujillo played well on defense.

GIRLS' SOCCER

• Lourdes 5, Carrollton 0: Andrea De Ona scored two goals to lead the Bobcats (11-1-1). Kyara Marquez and Claudia Leon also scored.

• Hialeah-Miami Lakes 8, Central 0: Shannon Peroyero led the Trojans (6-6-1) with three goals. Barbara Tapia had a goal and Katie Lowy had an assist.

• Miami Springs 6, Hialeah 0: Paula Zuluaga led the Golden Hawks (14-0-1) with two goals and two assists. Dallas Carter had a goal and two assists. Emily Drew added a goal and an assist.

• Monday - Coral Gables 4, South Miami 0: Jeanne Canto led the Cavaliers (11-3-1) with three goals. Katyln Esquenazi had a goal, and goalkeeper Alexandra Webel recorded her seventh shutout.
