Archbishop Carroll slips past Gulliver

The Archbishop Carroll volleyball team defeated Gulliver on Monday 25-20, 25-22, 25-23.

Allyson Hernandez led the Bulldogs (13-5) with 17 kills, 10 points and five blocks. Nicole Will had 11 points, eight kills and 16 digs.

Ana Bush added 10 points, 25 assists and 19 digs.

GIRLS' VOLLEYBALL

• Krop d. American 25-4, 25-8, 25-22: Stephanie Toledo led Krop (17-2) with 15 kills and three aces. Jesyca Schiffman had 27 assists and four aces. Angelina Secondo had six kills and three aces.

• Ransom d. Miami Country Day 25-23, 25-22, 27-25: Carolen Shiff led the Raiders (14-2) with 10 points and two aces. Sammi Wyler had six kills and 12 digs. Vena Stephens had 15 kills and two blocks.

• Goleman d. Norland 20-25, 25-12, 25-23, 25-14: Lucia Ricardo led the Gators with eight kills and four aces. Diana Fuentes had eight kills and five aces. Licenia Dulce had five kills and 16 digs. Gol 8-4.

• Mater Academy d. Dade Christian 25-21, 25-22, 25-22: Jenna Isaacs led the Lions (13-5) with 19 kills and five blocks. Natasha Navedo had 35 assists and 10 points. Ashley Gutierrez had 10 kills and three blocks.

• Friday -- Krop d. North Miami 25-8, 25-8, 25-7: Stephanie Toledo led Krop (16-2) with 11 kills. Angelina Secondo had eight kills. Jesyca Schiffman added 18 assists and eight aces.
