The Coral Park girls' volleyball team outlasted host Coral Gables on Tuesday night 25-17, 14-25, 20-25, 25-15, 15-13.

Lydia Sanchez led the Rams (1-0) with five kills, 16 digs and three aces.

Angelica Beliz added 22 digs, and Katherine Escobar had 15 assists and three aces.

• Southwest d. Ferguson 14-25, 14-25, 25-23, 25-22, 15-12: Shannon Ferguson led the Eagles (1-0) with 10 kills and 13 digs. Miriam Deleon added nine kills and 11 digs. Kristen Rivera finished with 10 points, 34 assists and nine digs.

• Princeton Christian d. Brito 25-13, 25-4, 25-11: Ariam Rios led the Panthers (1-0) with 15 aces, six points and two kills.

Monique Rivers had seven kills and seven assists.

Alli Mowry had four kills, three aces and three points.

• Palmetto d. Homestead 25-13, 25-7, 25-10: Carrie Commendeiro led the Panthers (1-0) with eight kills and a block.

Renata Comparini had 14 digs and three aces. Kristen Cope had six kills and six aces.

• Varela d. South Dade 25-12, 25-11, 25-8: Barbera Cadet led the Vipers (1-0) with 10 kills, six digs and four aces.

Stef Konarek had 18 assists, five aces and five digs. Ellie Goralnick had 14 points and three aces.

• Braddock d. South Miami 25-20, 25-18, 25-5: Katie Campos led the Bulldogs (1-0) with 26 points and nine aces.

Ingrid Cabrera had seven digs and four points.

Michelle Hernandez had four kills, five assists and seven points.

• Archbishop Carroll d. La Salle 25-18, 23-25, 25-21, 27-25: Ana Bush led the way for the Bulldogs (1-0) with 19 points.

Allie Hernandez added 17 points and Dannitzha Gil finished with 11 points.

• John Carroll preseason tournament (in Fort Pierce) -- Palmer Trinity d. St. Edwards 25-18, 25-18: Paulina Prieto had four kills. Laura Posada finished with five kills, five blocks, and two aces.

Sarah Alonso added three aces and 37 assists.

• Dade Christian d. Hollywood Christian 25-12, 25-18, 21-25, 25-19: Christina Floyd led the way for the Crusaders (1-0) with eight kills, two assists, five digs, and one ace. Callie Newbanks had two kills, one ace, and 11 digs. Bernice Wood finished with one kill, 12 assists, and four digs.

• Lourdes d. Sunset 25-16, 25-19, 21-25, 25-20: Carolina Nuche led the way for the Bobcats (1-0) with nine kills and four aces. Lauren Alfonso added 11 kills, eight blocks, and four digs. Jennifer Palmer had six aces and nine digs.

• Champagnat d. Florida Bible 23-25, 27-25, 25-23, 25-12: Cindy Monrabal led the way for Lions (1-0) with 27 points, 11 aces, nine kills and four digs. Girsy Ramirez added 12 points, nine aces, four kills and seven digs. Katerina Moreno-Costa finished with seven points, 17 assists and five digs.
