Florida safety Dorian Munroe's career possibly over

GAINESVILLE -- Florida safety Dorian Munroe's college career is likely over after reinjuring the ACL in his right knee during practice last Tuesday.
Coach Urban Meyer said he isn't ready to rule out a possible return until after he speaks to Munroe, but with less than two months to go, there's little chance.
This is the third injury to Munroe's right knee in less than two years.
The Miami Coral Reef graduate missed the 2008 season with a torn ACL, and preseason surgery to repair a damaged meniscus kept him out for most of this season.
He played on special teams Oct. 31 against Georgia but did not dress Saturday against Vanderbilt after his latest injury.
``Dorian Munroe is in the same category as Ryan Stamper and Justin Trattou and some other players on the team who are all Gator,'' Meyer said. ``He's just a great kid.''
KUDOS FOR KICKERS
Punter Chas Henry was named Southeastern Conference Special Teams Player of the Week on Monday. Henry boomed four punts for an average of 52.8 yards against the Commodores. Also, kicker Caleb Sturgis became one of 20 semifinalists for the Lou Groza Award for the nation's best kicker.
