San Jose to host 2012 U.S. Figure Skating Championships

U.S. Figure Skating announced Wednesday that San Jose will be the host city of its 2012 national championships.

The event will be held January 22-29 at HP Pavilion. This marks the 11th time the state of California has hosted the event and the second time the city of San Jose has played host. The first time was in 1996.

The 2010 nationals are scheduled for January in Spokane, Washington. The 2011 championships will be held in Greensboro, North Carolina.
