Three days into the Dolphins’ general manager search, they already have met with five candidates.
Owner Stephen Ross sat down with Titans vice president of player personnel Lake Dawson on Sunday, the fifth interview held at Dolphins headquarters in some 60 hours.
Ross, former Chiefs executive Carl Peterson, RSE Ventures chairman Matt Higgins and Dolphins executive vice president Dawn Aponte are all involved in the search process.
The Dolphins already had interviewed candidates Brian Gaine (Dolphins), Ray Farmer (Browns), Jason Licht (Cardinals) and Omar Khan (Steelers) for the opening. Eagles executive Tom Gamble and Giants vice president of player evaluation Marc Ross also are on Miami’s radar.
Dawson, 42, is responsible for overseeing both Tennessee’s pro personnel and college scouting departments.
