The last race of the 2009 Formula One season takes place this weekendwith the inaugural Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.The final event will be anti-climatic as far as the points battle isconcerned. Jenson Button clinched the F1 world championship with a fifth-placefinish two weeks ago in Brazil. Button comes to Abu Dhabi with an impassable15-point lead over Sebastian Vettel and a 17-point advantage over RubensBarrichello. A driver can score a maximum of 10 points only in each grandprix.Button dominated the first half of the 2009 campaign, winning six of the firstseven grand prix. That's quite impressive for a driver who had just onevictory during his previous six F1 seasons.The Yas Marina Circuit, conceived by German architect and well-known trackdesigner Hermann Tilke, includes 21 turns over 3.4 miles. The circuit is oneof the few venues on the F1 calendar to run in an anti-clockwise direction.It's also part of Abu Dhabi's Yas Island development, which covers an area of25-square kilometers.The 2010 Formula One season begins March 14 in Sakhir, Bahrain.
