Formula One racing's governing body, the International Automobile Federation (FIA), on Monday released its calendar for the 2010 season, with South Korea added and Canada reinstated to the 19 grand prix schedule.
The Canadian Grand Prix was dropped from the F1 calendar in 2009 after the FIA and race organizers could not reach an agreement. The event in Montreal, which is subject to the completion of contractual negotiations with F1 management, is scheduled for June 13.
If an agreement between Canadian race officials and F1 is not met, The Turkish Grand Prix will then be moved one week later from its scheduled date of May 30.
South Korea will host its inaugural event on October 17.
The 2010 F1 world championship calendar begins March 14 with the Bahrain Grand Prix, which replaces the previous season-opener Australian Grand Prix. The Australian event in Melbourne will run on March 28.
Brazil will conclude the season on November 14. This year, the inaugural grand prix in Abu Dhabi replaced Brazil as the season-finale. The Abu Dhabi event for next year is scheduled as the penultimate round on October 31.
