St. Louis, MO (SportsNetwork.com) - The St. Louis Cardinals made a number of roster moves on Sunday, including recalling infielder Pete Kozma and pitcher Kevin Siegrist from Triple-A Memphis.

Kozma, who drove in 35 runs a season ago, has appeared in just four games for St. Louis this season. He has experience playing second base, third base, shortstop and left field for the Cards.

Siegrist has made 32 relief appearances with the club, compiling a disappointing 6.11 ERA with 33 strikeouts. The southpaw had a tremendous rookie campaign in 2013, when he allowed just two runs in 39 2/3 innings.

To make room for the duo, St. Louis optioned pitcher's Marco Gonzales, Nick Greenwood and Tyler Lyons to Double-A Springfield.

Pitchers Michael Wacha and Jason Motte were also sent to Springfield for injury rehab assignments. Both are expected to pitch on Sunday.
