St. Petersburg, FL ( - The Boston Red Sox activated shortstop Xander Bogaerts from the seven-day concussion disabled list on Saturday.

The 21-year-old Bogaerts was removed from an Aug. 22 game after being hit in the head by a pitch from Seattle ace Felix Hernandez. He was placed on the DL three days later, retroactive to Aug. 23.
