Diamondbacks claim OF Reimold off waivers

Phoenix, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - The Arizona Diamondbacks claimed outfielder Nolan Reimold off waivers Thursday from the Toronto Blue Jays.

Reimold was designated for assignment by the Blue Jays on Tuesday. He batted .212 with two home runs in 22 games for them after being claimed off waivers from the Baltimore Orioles, who cut him on July 1 after five seasons.

The six-year veteran is a career .250 hitter with 43 homers and a .324 on-base percentage over 308 games.
