Denver, CO (SportsNetwork.com) - The Colorado Rockies activated right- handed pitcher Christian Bergman from the 60-day disabled list Sunday, to make the start in his club's series finale against the Marlins.
Bergman hasn't pitched since late June, after being struck in the hand by a line drive off the bat of Milwaukee Brewers third baseman Aramis Ramirez.
Prior to the setback, the 26-year-old was 0-2 with a 7.20 earned run average over three starts.
In addition, the Rox placed outfielder Michael Cuddyer on the 15-day disabled list thanks to a left hamstring strain and transferred outfielder Carlos Gonzalez to the 60-day DL.
