Milwaukee, WI (SportsNetwork.com) - The Los Angeles Dodgers placed shortstop Hanley Ramirez on the 15-day disabled list Sunday.

Ramirez is suffering from a right oblique strain. He was injured before Friday's game against Milwaukee but attempted to play, only to be removed after the top of the first inning.

Ramirez is batting .277 with 12 home runs and 58 RBI in 100 games this season.

The Dodgers recalled infielder Darwin Barney from Triple-A Albuquerque to fill the vacated roster spot.
