Bronx, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The Toronto Blue Jays on Sunday activated outfielder Nolan Reimold from the 15-day disabled list and designated pitcher Esmil Rogers for assignment.

Reimold had been sidelined with a left calf strain, and hasn't played since July 11.

The former Oriole, who was claimed off waivers by Toronto in early July, collected four hits in 12 at-bats over four games, including three doubles, before his injury. He also spent 17 games at Double-A Bowie in the Baltimore system, hitting .315.

Rogers failed to record a decision in 16 appearances for the Blue Jays this season, pitching to a 6.97 earned run average after allowing 16 earned runs in 20 2/3 innings.
