Bucs' Marte reinstated from bereavement list

Pittsburgh, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Pittsburgh Pirates reinstated outfielder Starling Marte from the bereavement list on Thursday.

Marte missed Pittsburgh's final five games prior to the All-Star break.

The 25-year-old has hit for a .256 average with five home runs, 16 doubles and 32 RBI in 83 games this season, his third with the Pirates.

Pittsburgh also optioned outfielder Jaff Decker to Triple-A Indianapolis.
