Oakland's Reddick lands back on DL

Miami, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Oakland Athletics placed outfielder Josh Reddick on the 15-day disabled list Sunday with a right knee strain.

Reddick, 27, just came off the DL this past Tuesday after hyperextending the same knee on May 31.

He is batting .229 with four home runs and 24 RBI over 54 games this season.

The A's recalled first baseman Nate Freiman from Triple-A Sacramento in a corresponding move. He hit .277 with 14 home runs and 69 RBI in 76 games with Sacramento.
