St. Petersburg, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Pittsburgh Pirates activated second baseman Neil Walker from the 15-day disabled list Tuesday.
Walker underwent an appendectomy on June 9, landing him on the disabled list.
Walker is batting .280 with 11 homers and 35 RBI in 62 games this season.
To make room for Walker, the Pirates outrighted outfielder Jose Tabata to Triple-A Indianapolis.
