Pirates' McCutchen named NL Player of the Week

New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Andrew McCutchen was named the National League Player of the Week for the third time in his career on Monday.

McCutchen led the majors in home runs (four) and RBI (13) last week. He registered two hits in all seven games and finished with a .483 batting average.

The reigning NL MVP also earned the honor in consecutive weeks during the 2012 season.
