Saratoga Springs, NY ( - Former champion filly My Miss Aurelia will make her 2014 racing debut Monday at historic Saratoga Race Course versus five highly qualified females in the $100,000 Shine Again Stakes over seven furlongs.

My Miss Aurelia, the 2011 champion 2-year-old filly, has been away from the races since finishing third to Tiz Miz Sue in the Azeri Stakes at Oaklawn Park March 16 of last year. Trained by Todd Pletcher, the 5-year-old mare has drawn post 4 and will have Hall of Fame jockey John Velazquez in the saddle.

Owned by Stonestreet Stables, My Miss Aurelia had just the one start in 2013 after winning the 2012 Cotillion at Parx Racing and getting second to Royal Delta in the Breeders' Cup Distaff.

Undefeated as a 2-year-old, she won the Adirondack, Frizette and Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies to secure the Eclipse Award.

My Miss Aurelia has banked more than $2.4 million with six wins in nine starts.

Joining My Miss Aurelia in the field will be 2012 Delaware Oaks winner Grace Hall. The 5-year-old mare will leave from post 2 with regular rider Joel Rosario.

Trained by Bill Mott for Alpha Delta Stables, Grace Hall was second in her two starts this year. She dropped a three-quarter length decision in the Ruffian at Belmont Park on May 11 and finished 10 lengths behind Iotapa in the Vanity on June 14 at Santa Anita.

"She was right up there with the pace but she got tired at the end," assistant trainer Rodolphe Brisset noted after the Vanity. "We were expecting some tough competition out here but we wanted to stay away from the big guns in the Ogden Phipps at Belmont (June 7). The Vanity, out here a week later, was perfect timing for her and us."

In her only two starts as a 4-year-old, Grace Hall was third behind Royal Delta in Gulfstream's Sabin and seventh to On Fire Baby in the Apple Blossom at Oaklawn. The mare has won six of 15 starts for better than $1.5 million

Here is the field for the Shine Again from the rail out: Toasting, Irad Ortiz Jr.; Grace Hall, Joel Rosario; Bridgehampton, Jose Ortiz; My Miss Aurelia, John Velazquez; Angel's Glory, Manuel Franco and Better Lucky, Javier Castellano.

The Shine Again has an approximate post time of 4:42 p.m. ET.
