• Behind a team-high 15 points and seven rebounds from Tournament MVP Martavious Irving, the Boyd Anderson boys basketball team remained unbeaten with a 70-61 victory over Miller Grove (Ga.) in the Arby's Classic championship game in Bristol, Tenn., last Wednesday. Junior 6-8 center Travis Elliott had 15 points and 10 rebounds, Cedric Flood added 14 points and nine rebounds, and high-flying 6-3 guard Bryan Bynes had 11 points and five assists for the Cobras (12-0), who are ranked No. 43 in the ESPN Rise boys' basketball poll.

• Khyle Marshall, Flanagan, boys' basketball: The 6-6 junior guard had a career-high 52 points and 18 rebounds in a win over Lincoln Park.

• Kenny Boynton Jr., American Heritage, boys' basketball: Boynton had 48 points, including eight three-pointers, to help the Patriots beat Orlando Dr. Phillips.

• Rod Days, Sagemont, boys' basketball: Days had 19 points, seven rebounds and four blocks in a win over Chavez (Ariz.).

• Sherman Gammage, Dillard, boys' basketball: The speedy senior guard had a team-high 15 points as the Panthers fell to St. Francis (Md.) in the Dillard Holiday Classic final.

• David Jean-Jacques, Blanche Ely, boys' basketball: Jean-Jacques, a three-point shooting ace, had a team-high 21 points and five steals in an overtime loss to Santaluces in the D-Hop Classic final.

• Dezmen Southward and Dylan O'Sullivan, St. Thomas Aquinas, boys' basketball: Southward and O'Sullivan tied for a team-high 17 points as the Raiders rallied from an 18-point fourth quarter deficit to defeat North Port in the McDonald's Tampa Classic.

• James Williams, Deerfield Beach, boys' basketball: The 6-5 junior scored a game-high 18 points and was named tournament MVP as the Bucks defended their Deerfield Beach Holiday Blitz title against Pompano Beach.

• Jassany Williams, Nova, girls' basketball: The 6-2 tournament MVP had a game-high 22 points and 12 rebounds to help the Titans beat South Broward in the Junior Orange Bowl Classic final.

• Kianna Conner, Dillard, girls' basketball: Conner had a team-high 17 points to lead the Panthers over Hart County in the McDonald's Shootout final in Hartwell, Ga.

• Ariah Osceola, Hollywood Christian, girls' basketball: Osceola had a game-high 32 points to lead the Eagles over St. Petersburg Catholic in the Indian Rocks Tournament championship.

• Kysswanna Williams, Pompano Beach, girls' basketball: Williams had a game-high 24 points, seven rebounds and four steals to lead the Tornadoes over Flanagan in the Deerfield Beach Holiday Blitz final.

• Hayley Hashemi, Pine Crest, girls' soccer: Hashemi scored three goals to lead the Panthers over Coral Glades in the Westminster Academy Invitational championship game.

• Sean Doyle, Highlands Christian, boys' soccer: Doyle had three goals as the Knights tied Westminster Academy 4-4.

• Jeremy Katz, University, boys' soccer: Katz scored twice as the Suns shut out Trinity Christian.
