Douglas girls win district swim meet

The Douglas girls' swimming team rolled to victory Wednesday afternoon, tallying up 566 total points to win the district 9-3A meet.

The Eagles used a strong team effort to win, as they came in at least in second place in each event on the day.

Leading the way for Douglas was Lindsey McKnight.

McKnight won the 100 freestyle with a time of 52.41 along with winning the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:07.01.

McKnight was also apart of the 400 freestyle and 200 medley relay teams that placed first in both events.
