Redland Christian girls' volleyball team wins 13th in a row

The Redland Christian girls' volleyball team won its 13th consecutive match Wednesday, defeating Greater Miami Academy 25-15, 25-18, 23-25, 25-13. Redland Christian (13-0) was led by Kaylyn Carr, who had 21 kills, four assists, two blocks, five aces and one dig. Karlee Carr had seven kills, 16 assists, eight aces, one block and one dig and Celia McCorka had three kills, seven aces and 11 assists.

• Dr. Krop d. North Miami Beach 25-12, 25-6, 25-5: Stephanie Toledo led Krop (18-2) with 12 kills, three assists and two blocks. Brittany Dubins added 12 kills and nine aces and Jessica Schiffman had 27 assists and three aces.

• Hialeah d. Coral Park 25-16, 25-23, 29=27: Melissa Mendez led Hialeah (17-4) with 20 assists and seven digs. Jazmin Wilkins had 16 kills and four blocks and Maria Madrid 19 kills and four blocks.

• Miami Country Day d. Chaminade-Maddonna 25-16, 25-18, 15-25, 23-25, 15-11: Natasha Vlahovic led Miami Country Day (15-5) with 17 blocks, eight kills and 11 digs. Samantha Sardinia added eight kills and eight blocks and Estefania Gasparini had three kills, nine digs and one block.

• Miami Christian d. Champagnat 25-14, 25-11, 25-14: Andrea Garcia led Miami Christian (7-12) with 10 kills, seven aces and two blocks. Nicole Beckelheimer had 10 aces and six kills and Daniella Garcia had seven points and five digs.

• Tuesday -- Miami Christian d. Trinity Christian 25-12, 25-17, 25-7: Alexandra Marchese led Miami Christian with 19 assists and 10 points. Andrea Garcia added 10 kills, five blocks and six points and Daniella Garcia had 15 points and seven aces.

• American d. North Miami 25-16, 25-23, 25-17: Daniela Donoso led American (10-4) with 11 assists. Denise Prieto had eight kills, one block and one dig and Inez Diaz six assists, four kills and three aces.

• Palmer Trinity d. Marathon 25-12, 25-6, 25-9: Helina Prieto led Palmer Trinity (13-6) with nine kills, six blocks and four aces. Kristin Pitley had seven aces and six kills and Laura Posada two blocks, six kills and three aces.

• Lourdes d. Varela 22-25, 25-13, 26-24, 22-25, 15-10: Lauren Alphonso led Lourdes (13-9) with 17 kills and 11 blocks. Lauren Silva had 18 kills and nine aces and Katherine Zamora added 40 assists.
