Rogerson medals, leads Cardinal Gibbons in quad match victory
Ryan Rogerson led Cardinal Gibbons to victory in a boys' golf quad match against some of the top teams in the county.
With a one-under par 71, Rogerson took medalist honors and fueled the Chiefs with a 300 to defeat Cypress Bay (305), St. Thomas Aquinas (313) and McCarthy (319) at Don Shula Golf Course in Miami Lakes.
Cypress Bay's Brandon Park finished second with a 73.

St. Thomas Aquinas d. Hollywood Hills 25-16, 25-17, 25-20: Jessie Arneson had nine digs, seven points. Brittany Linder had six kills, four blocks. Emalie Styles had three kills for the Raiders (6-3).
Cooper City d. Plantation 17-25, 25-10, 25-12, 25-20: Meghan Lockwood led the Cowboys (4-2) with 14 points, six aces, seven assists and five kills. Jessica Bruno added 16 points, six aces and two kills. Shelby Nix finished with seven points, one ace, seven assists and five kills.
