Coral Reef's Berman shoots ace
Though the Coral Reef boys' golf team finished second in their three-team match on Tuesday, they did have a first occur. Senior Taylor Berman shot a hole-in-one on the par-3 fifth hole. Berman shot a 45 on the day. Coral Reef coach Mike Kelkotka said he wasn't surprised by Berman's success. ''He's a great, great kid,'' Kelkotka said. ''One of the most competitive athletes I've ever seen play the game.'' Berman, who also plays baseball for the Barracudas, is interested in attending Duke or Florida.
Palmetto won the match 159-176 with Killian finishing third with 202. Palmetto's Ryan Carter shot a 39 for the lowest score of the match.
