North Broward Prep is entering the postseason with a purpose following its 77-6 win against Doral Academy on Friday.

The Eagles (8-2, 5-1 Dist. 7-2B), who have outscored their past four opponents 208-13, will host Gulliver in the region semifinals Nov. 20, a year after the Raiders knocked North Broward out of the playoffs.

``Same place, same time, a year later,'' North Broward's A.J. Sebastiano said. ``I can't express how happy I am to have this rematch. We want to take it to them and prove to them that it was a fluke last year.''

Sebastiano starred in North Broward's regular-season finale. The all-purpose junior tackled Doral's Pedro Perez for a safety, caught a 45-yard touchdown pass and returned one of his two interceptions for a touchdown.

The Eagles recorded 14 tackles for a loss on defense and enjoyed a 47-yard punt return touchdown by Vladimir Rock on special teams.

Offensively, Ethan Grant eluded tacklers for two rushing touchdowns, while Brandon Doughty completed 8-of-11 passes for 171 yards and three touchdowns.

The Eagles now have their sights set on a Gulliver grudge match. The Raiders made the 55-mile trip to North Broward Prep for a 2008 regional semifinal, spoiling the Eagles' 10-0 season with a 40-35 win.

Miramar 37, Dillard 0: The Patriots (9-1, 4-0) cruised on senior night against the Panthers (3-7, 0-2).

The Patriots wasted no time getting on the scoreboard and had two touchdowns before two minutes had been played. Those scores came first on a deep 65-yard pass to senior wide receiver Ivan McCartney from senior quarterback Ryan Williams and then on an 35-yard interception return by senior linebacker Dominick Bryan.

Williams led Miramar with 234 yards passing and three touchdowns. McCartney had 5 receptions for 143 yards and two touchdowns.
