Gibbons volleyball sweeps Pompano, improves to 14-1

The Cardinal Gibbons girls' volleyball team put on another strong performace Monday, defeating Pompano 25-16, 25-18, 25-21. The Chiefs (14-1) were led by Jessica Wynn, who had 14 kills and seven blocks. Kaiti Donahoe added 37 assists and Carly Good contributed seven service points.

GIRLS' VOLLEYBALL

Coral Springs Charter d. Sagemont 25-8, 25-20, 25-10: Amanda Holden had 17 service points and nine kills; Ashley Corona added 12 service points and 12 digs; CSC 6-7.

Sheridan Hills d. Cutler Ridge Christian 25-9, 25-6, 25-14: Alexandria Hawkins had 18 assists; Caitlin McCluskty had 18 service points; Fernanda Rhossard added 17 service points; SH 12-1.

LaSalle d. University 24-26, 25-22, 25-16, 25-17: Jackie Jawitz had 12 kills; Alexandra Vazquez added eight digs; Dominique Klinott had 14 assists and eight digs; For University Damianis Eusebio had 11 kills; LAS 7-7.

Hollywood Hills d. Plantation 18-25, 25-19, 25-23, 25-22: For Plantation had Jenna Keeler 12 kills, 10 blocks, and 23 digs.

West Broward d. Western 25-6, 25-13, 25-19: Sineidy Cruz seven aces; Amanda Jacob seven service points; Jaclyn Pickett five digs; WB 10-1.

Cypress Bay d. Cooper City 25-15, 23-25, 25-19, 25-22: For Cooper City Jessica Bruno 11 service points and eight kills.

Nova d. Coral Springs 25-20, 25-13, 25-21: Sara Faxner 13 digs and nine kills; Christy Brinson 11 service points and 14 assists, Kayla Upham eight service points; NOVA 11-4.
