Northwestern linebacker Quavon Taylor has decided to continue to play football for the ``Bulls.''

Taylor will just be changing the name in front of it from Northwestern to South Florida.

Taylor (6-0, 191 pounds) is ranked No. 42 among outside linebackers in the country by ESPN.com and was a recent first-team All-State selection for Class 6A. Taylor had 125 tackles, eight sacks and nine forced fumbles this season to lead Northwestern to its second consecutive state title and a mythical national championship. He was also a first team All-Dade selection.

Taylor, who is rated the No. 22 overall prospect in Miami-Dade, is also being recruited by the University of Miami, Tennessee, and West Virginia. He is the eighth Northwestern player to either orally commit or enroll early at a college so far.

Quarterback Jacory Harris, defensive tackle Marcus Forston, linebacker Sean Spence and wide receiver Aldarius Johnson are beginning classes this week at UM. Offensive lineman Brandon Washington and wide receiver Kendal Thompkins remain committed to UM. Linebacker Jamal Collins is orally committed to Central Michigan.

The Bulls now has their second commitment from the South Florida area as Taylor joins Coral Springs Charter safety Evan Landi.
