Top recruit Coleman commits to Ole Miss
Lauderdale Lakes Boyd Anderson defensive back Cliff Coleman has committed to the University of Mississippi. Coleman (5-11, 175 pounds) is the second Boyd Anderson defensive back to commit to a Southeastern Conference school, joining Demar Dorsey, who committed to Florida.
``I'm excited about the opportunity to play for Ole Miss,'' Coleman said. ``I really liked the coaching staff and the direction the program is headed.''
Coleman, who also has an offer from South Carolina, is rated a three-star prospect by Rivals.com, and is rated as the No. 15 overall recruit in Broward County by The Miami Herald.
Coleman, who has been timed in the 40-yard dash with 4.4-second speed, figures to be a key member of one of the top secondaries in South Florida in his upcoming senior season.
