Mater Academy has been steadily improving this season under former Pace coach Zeida Davila. The Lions picked up another big victory Wednesday, 25-15, 25-18, 25-18 against La Salle. Jenna Isaacs led the Lions with 14 kills and four blocks. Alexis Gandon added 16 digs and three aces and Natasha Naveda had 18 assists. Mater followed that game with a victory against district rival Monsignor Pace on Thursday night.
